While I respect your opinion, I don't see the argument for the economic impact that any of the schools have on their community, as for what you are saying in that they add to the town economically. If anything the schools are a big drain on the businesses in the town. If it were not for the generosity of the businesses located in each community, there would be no athletic programs in our schools, I'll repeat that.....If it were not for the generosity of the local businesses, there would be no athletic programs in our schools. Just go and ask one of the local merchants how much they contribute in donations to their local school.
I've never been a proponent of consolidation, but I'm open minded enough to listen to the pros and cons of both scenarios.
